Why Permanents magnets strength will be decreased or disappeared in high temperature?
Permanent magnets has magnetic strength because ferromagnetic materials such as iron, cobalt, nickel or ferrite are different. The inteal electron spins can be arrayed spontaneously in a small range to form a spontaneous magnetization region, which is called magnetic domain. After permanent magnetic materials are magnetized, the inteal magnetic domains are arrayed neatly and in the same direction, so as to strengthen the magnetic field strength and form a permanent magnet.
That is, the permanent magnet is composed of many small magnetic units arrayed in the same direction.
When the exteal temperature rises gradually, it is equivalent to providing energy for the electrons inside the magnet. Its thermal motion intensifies, resulting in the gradual destruction of the electron spin arrangement in the same direction, and the exteal magnetic force decreases. However, when the temperature reaches a critical value, the trend of thermal motion exceeds the effect of magnetic force, completely disrupting the arrangement order of inteal magnetic domains and making the arrangement of these units no longer regular. In this way, from a macro point of view, It loses its magnetic strength completely.
